We're going to look at what has created a wall between us and God, and how to tear it down. Come every week for David's message and the next chapter in the drama . . .
We had a great time with 32 tables representing 35 ministries of our church. Mary Van Horn got the best decorated award for her Children's Choirs booth and Greg Teel took home the prize for most effective ministry promotion. We appreciate everyone's participation, and hope the fiesta helped you learn about ministry and missions at Vista Grande.
Our small group of ten relied heavily on the Lord and local Brazilians to build this church in a remote area across the Amazon River from Manaus. The temperature and humidity were both over 100!
Our Australian themed VBS had 585 enrolled and an average attendance of 440. Thirteen children made decisions for Christ and many more seeds were planted. Our thanks to the dedicated teachers and volunteers who make this week possible.
Brent Fuqua led this camp designed for kids in kindergarten - 6th grade. It looks like they had a lot of fun - our thanks to Lynn Allan and Rick Bowen for sharing their pictures.

The Alive High School Choir, consisting of 28 members and 8 sponsors, traveled to Oregon and Washington to present "Built on the Rock" to churches, juvenile detention facilities and senior adults. Service projects included clearing and hauling brush and it looks like they managed to have some fun as well.
Approximately 230 children and sponsors had a great week at Kids Camp Africa. Pastor Greg reported that three of our children made professions of faith. The cardboard testimonies vividly demonstrated where the kids were, and where God had taken them by the end of the week.
